Introspectum Limited is a software company registered in the Isle of Man. We build tools that make software, & the businesses that run on it, checkable: a verified Software Factory, an open-data ERP & CRM, & research on a Trading Platform.
We are our own first customer: our development is the first to run on the Software Factory, & our business the first to run on the ERP & CRM.
The name comes from the Latin introspicere: to look inside.
Research
We studied the problem: we read 17 industry reports & interviewed 15 engineers, team leaders & budget owners. Most of them described one problem as serious: reviewing AI-generated code takes more effort than reviewing code written by people.
The idea goes back to Fabian Klopfer’s work on graph databases at the University of Konstanz, where he wrote his bachelor’s thesis on inferring type hierarchies in property graph databases.

Computer scientist (M.Sc., University of Konstanz) & neuroscientist (M.Sc., University of Tübingen). Previously a software engineer in Db2 development at IBM Germany Research & Development. Earlier research at the University of Konstanz, the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, OpenCog & Hanson Robotics.

Founding Designer
Designed the local AI plugin for Omarchy; his posts about it reached more than a million impressions on X within a month. Previously worked for EXO Labs. He also designed the brand & website of Local Studio, which runs AI privately on your Mac, & has designed logos, identities & typefaces since 2018: gildrb.com.
